Kyla graduated in 2005 with a degree in education, and married Robert Reams in March of 2006. They had their first child, Nina was born on April 24th, 2006. She was 7 pounds, 3 ounces and 19.5 inches long.

Kris is finishing degree in education and may go on to obtain a masters degree. He will be able to teach 4th-8th grade. Kris was recruited by Camp Adventure in 2005. It is a camp organziation for the children of armed forces at bases and embassies around the world. Staff receive room and board, plane tickets and and a small stipend. In the summer of 2005, Kris traveled to the army base in Germany, where the military hospital is located. On weekends, they hopped the train and traveled to Paris, Italy, Normandy, Switzerland, to Austria and saw many well-known places. He is signed up to go with Camp Adventure to China in the summer of 2006.
